My friend Kyoko had this shelf posted on her blog.

Her DH made it just for her copic markers!!

So I asked if I could buy one for my everyday accessories. I found that it's so convenient to have it all in one place rather than all over the craft table. It makes it much easier to work.

I thought it would be good to put wooden stamps too!

Or even punches!!

I made 15 of these boxes. They're for my husband to give to all the girls at work for Girl's Day tomorrow. I filled them with furikake arare and cheese okaki. Now that I think about it, I should've taken a picture of them too.

Also, we just moved into our new house! I can't wait to get settled in and have a partay!!

Thought I'd make a birthday card for a friend. I had these sweet treat cups from SU! for a long time and haven't used them. I just added buttons for her to use rather than candy. I'm posting this late but last month I won this blog candy from Amy. She has some nice card creations so go check her blog out =} I can't wait to use these stamps and stuff she gave. I'm sorta broken for a while. I slammed my finger in the van door and haven't done a card since. It really sucks!!

My friend told me of the new products that are releasing from CTMH and

knows how I am totally into bags and stuff. So this rolling carryall and tote I had to get. I love the color and also because I am always lugging my stuff to people's houses to craft. It's a convenient way to travel. But I think I'll make more use of them on my Vegas trip =} I think it'll be good to take them on the plane.

Wow, this is one big set Elizabeth created! Aren't they all so cute? It sure took me a while to figure out what to do. But I was thinking something like a framed picture rather than a card. This week's element along with the image is flowers of any type. I used the Marvy Uchida 2" punch to make the squares along the edges. I just had to use that paper because I really liked the colors. The buttons and pearl adhesives I used for the tree and bush is from Close To My Heart. The flowers are Petaloo Dazzles from Memory Works and I made her cap a little furry using the q-tip cotton.

Yay. My second week on the design team and I feel I'm getting the hang of it. This week Tracey and I were given a couple of images and two patterned papers to print from Elizabeth. We got the stars background which I cut and spaced apart and also, the matching stripes that I made going across. This image is Tommy Train. Originally, I printed two of these images. One of him in the size you see and I printed another in a much bigger size to get the train like that. I also printed the bird from another Tommy image so I could cover the part where I pulled the train from. So voilà! There it is..hope Elizabeth enjoys the card.

Denise held this huge get together at her place and a BIG thanks to her and her family for letting us all come and srap all day long! It was such a fun day that went by super fast. I think we did a lot of laughter and talking than we did crafting. Oh and not to mention the eating!! It was great meeting new people and especially other bloggers. I made these cards long ago and these stamps are a hostess set from Stampin Up! The one that caught my eye was the donut be sad. I can't believe how popular that stamp is! I've used it many times and it was requested over and over again. My friends were quoting that and would tell me,"donut be sad" or "donut get mad, I have to tell you something". It would make me laugh! I had to make dozens and dozens of these donuts. It was well worth it getting them!! =}

I started cooking at around 5:15pm. It would have been sooner, but I was having such a nice time at Denise's house. AND, I would have also been there sooner BUT you know, I thought it's a Sunday and she may be at Church. (Right, Linda & Kyoko??) Anyway, I finally got in touch w/her and she told me that Linda & Kyoko were also there. I never met them before. But when I got there, they were cracking me up and we were just talking story and having a BLAST! I think they are too much those 3 girls. They wanted me to stamp w/them but I was trying to save my energy to do my cards at home....which I haven't gotten around to and it's now 8:30pm. But I do hope to be able to hang out and scrap like that w/them.......one day when nobody has plans or when they're finished w/Church.

Craft Fair & Garage Sale @ Downtown Early Education Center

This Saturday 4/25 Nicky and I will be participating in the craft fair & garage sale at my daughter's preschool at the Early Education Center (Seagull Schools) 1130 Alapai Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 located in Downtown near the Municipal Building. It's above the parking structure across the Board of Water Supply on Beretania Street. Parking is free in the structure. It's held from 8:00 am till 1:00 pm. Some people will be selling their items as a garage sale and others will be selling their handmade artwork as a craft fair. Nicky and I will be selling our handmade cards and will also be selling our things for the garage sale.

OMG!~ My male bff Scott Tamashiro made this card for me for Easter. He came up with the idea on his own but with the help of my female bff Misty, he put this card together! Misty used the SD silhouette (The brand NEW one from CHA) to cut out the pieces. Scott told her what he had in mind and everything he needed to make this card. I totally couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this card. I thought it was so very awesome!! Scott and I have been close friends for like the past couple of years. I don't think anyone can understand us being such great friends. Esp because he's a guy....who's over at my house (eating whatever I cook) every week and we talk every single day. Whenever it's slow at work and he's off, he'll come and have lunch w/me at my work. We've known each other from like 10 yrs ago but we didn't hang out like we do now. But he's a really great friend and I'm so glad I have his friendship. I remember when I first got into scrapbooking he bought me the revolution from Quickutz for my Christmas present. Anyway, check out this card that this dude made for me =}

I rarely make them the same unless it's requested again. I find it hard to take orders for the exact same card that I have already made because I might not have that same paper.

Gifts From Nicky!!

The other Saturday, it was Nicky's turn to come over to lug over her things to craft at my house. But she also brought over gifts for me! She gave me this super cute card and it made me tear - 'owl always be your friend' it said inside. She gave me a Longs gift card with it for helping her with stuffs I did....which I actually wanted to do. Anyway, she also brought over a box of Liliha cocoa puffs for me and my family! Oh and we went to Ben Franklin in Kailua together to use our 40% off coupon and we went to Round Table Pizza to pick up lunch and she handed her card to the cashier like sooo fast!! Besides being so pampered with all kinds of stuffs from Nicky, I had such a wonderful time! From 10:30 till around 8pm at night and it went by so super fast. I always look forward to hanging out with her. My husband thinks we are like little Elementary School kids cause we are always cracking up like crazy!!

Prime Rib Din-Din

I found this in my freezer - 5 lb Rib Eye and thought I should cook it already. I baked it in my conventional oven (present from hubby) for just 2 hours and I was surprised it came out perfect. I like my meats medium rare. I don't care for au jus or horseradish. Just seasoned like this. And since it was a huge chunk of meat, I didn't eat any starch. It killed the craving!!

I made these today at Nicky's house. We planned to just hang out and make cards. We were suppose to do some other things but I guess we forgot and just got carried away with our cardmaking. I have been wanting to make cards with these digital designs. The designs are soo cute!! Sad to say this is all I made....for the entire 12 hrs we were sitting at the table and crafting. Except for eating lunch and dinner. So that meant we were doing a lot of talking!! =P

My cousin called me a few weeks ago to tell me her fiancée was diagnosed with leukemia. It was such a shocker. They flew on a private jet plane the next day to Seattle for treatment. I've been talking with her almost everyday to see how he's doing. So far he's alright. He's had two surgeries and he's got 8 more days of chemo. I told her I'll make a bunch of cards for her to sell to help pay for whatever they need. These are all I made so far. I made 5 cards each night and this is just the 3rd night. Thanks to my friends who also offered to make cards with their creations. I'll be sure to post those as soon as I get them.

I wanted to make a fast card before my friend comes over. I just felt like scrapping! I haven't in a while because I got burned out from the craft fair and xmas orders. Then came all the holiday parties and blah blah blah. Come to think of it - this is my first card in the new year!! I used the puppy in the Welcome Baby set from Close To My Heart. These stamps are new from the Spring 09 catalog. And oooh....I love the cupcake set! My friend gave them to me since she knows I love dogs and cupcakes. With the last minute run arounds among other things I needed to do, I put this together tonight in 1.5 hrs. I actually asked my husband to stuff it after I made the boxes and to stick on the labels for me. Grrr....hopefully her class will like them.

I bought the Making Memories carousel organizer and I just love it! I got it 50% off at Joann's. You need to get one of these! It makes your work much easier and convenient. You don't waste so much time finding the one thing you need while you work. AND it makes your work station much cleaner. Wouldn't you say so?

I recently was going through my digital camera pics from the past 7 yrs and came across these. Gosh it brought back memories! I almost forgot I made these desserts. I still make the mochiko chicken, but the banana cream and fondant cake, I only made it for that first and last time. I was soooo into baking that I would randomly try things that were hard. I get bored fast so I usually don't make it again because I'm off to making something else. Now I can see why I am the way I am when it comes to cardmaking/scrapbooking. But with cooking foods, I can do them again and again.

I just got the cartridge yesterday and I wanted to try out a few that looked interesting. When looking at all the designs, I felt overwhelmed. The person (Cecelia Harris) that created the designs for this is VERY talented! She has a great passion for reading and writing. Anyway, if you are at all into cardmaking, I highly suggest you purchase this cartridge.

I also bought the vinyl for my silhouette just because it was the last one in stock.

And this bag.....I've been eyeing it out!! This bag too was the last one in stock.

Cannot wait to use it for my make-and-take classes!!

This is one of the newest things from Quickutz. It's for the Silhouette. I wanted this to make stuffs for Christmas presents. These are vinyl adhesive packs that you can cut out xmas dies.

I'll make one and post it later.....

Interesting Order

This girl I know through someone else, asked me to make her wedding thank you cards. Her colors were brown and pink. She is totally into skulls and she wasn't able to have any skulls whatsoever at her wedding. So, she insisted that her thank yous should have it. However, I even had a hard time using a skull because I just didn't see it as appropriate. So I came out with the bones crossed with a heart. And she LOVED it! So her ordered included 300 cards for her to thank her guests. I must say that this is one of my most interesting orders ever requested!

I also made my own envelopes to go with her cards as she needed them ASAP. So I had them cut and assembled by hand. I didn't give her the entire 300 at once. As I completed 100, she took them because she wanted to start writing and send them out.

I was talking to Jen when I was at work today. She called me back when I was on lunch. I said, "Hey...I'll call you right back. I'm about to run to Ben Franklin for the Clip It Up." She said, "WHAT IS THAT???" I was like, are you serious? She knows about anything and EVERYTHING!! So I put it together real fast so I can show it to her. I think she'll say,"OH - that's what you call it?!"

I actually wanted this to keep track of my dies rather than having them in soda boxes. But now, I want to use it to sell the dies. I guess in between the craft fairs I could use it for myself when scrapping/cardmaking.

I was just messing around.....husband said he can't believe after the craft fair I am still making cards.

I actually like this card with the flowers & buttons. The great thing about having friends that scrapbook is that you can 'share' your stuff! Then have a little bit of everything. I traded paper and ribbon for her flowers & buttons.

I can't believe I am not the only one that is in love with this Monkey! I'm so glad I was able to purchase this as it was an exclusive from Quickutz. One of those limited edition dies that one store has it custom made. But the hands belong to the peek-a-boo bunny die. I sometimes use them for feet too =)

Like usual, I don't know what I am going to make. I just know I want to make something. I think that's what keeps me going on making these cards. I just wanted to see what the monkey would look like. So I grabbed the square scallop from my trash. Then I wondered how it would look colored. I borrowed my daughter's brand new colored pencils for school supplies! Then I dug through the trash some more and kept adding and adding.

Then I came out with this. The monkey is from Close To My Heart stamp of the month for July. I borrowed just this monkey out of my friend's set......I'd better stamp out a bunch before I give it back.

I just had to go Ben Franklin in Kailua when I got a call from my co-worker this morning about the 20% bag sale. These papers were 50 cents. Plus the additional 20% discount!!

This particular paper I bought all that was on the rack. My best friend bought 1 for me and when I used it, it made the card REALLY nice. I just love the colors! So I had to get them again.
