rubbish picker

Like usual, I don't know what I am going to make. I just know I want to make something. I think that's what keeps me going on making these cards. I just wanted to see what the monkey would look like. So I grabbed the square scallop from my trash. Then I wondered how it would look colored. I borrowed my daughter's brand new colored pencils for school supplies! Then I dug through the trash some more and kept adding and adding.

Then I came out with this. The monkey is from Close To My Heart stamp of the month for July. I borrowed just this monkey out of my friend's set......I'd better stamp out a bunch before I give it back.

Something New

yay! I'm happy with this one. cause it's my 1st time making it. I didn't know what the heck I was doing. but the outcome turned into something!

.....finally.....

This card was pending for a long time. It had just the background paper and I had the mug cut out. But I didn't know what papers to use and how to put it together. I guess it's ok....

Getting down to business

I made 6 cards so far and the craft fair is in 2 weeks! How crazy is that. Only made 1 card tonight. I'd better get crackin'!

Paper Crazed

I just had to go Ben Franklin in Kailua when I got a call from my co-worker this morning about the 20% bag sale. These papers were 50 cents. Plus the additional 20% discount!!

This particular paper I bought all that was on the rack. My best friend bought 1 for me and when I used it, it made the card REALLY nice. I just love the colors! So I had to get them again.

$$$$$$ DAMAGE $$$$$$$

This is real bad! I just bought the cricut 2 weeks ago and the very next day I purchased all these online. They arrived this past week. And I didn't realize I bought so many until now! Bad, bad cricut!

I finally put my cricut to use. I am trying to get used to how it cuts. Here are my first cards using the cricut expression machine. I am preparing for the craft fair sale at
Honpa Hongwanji Mission School.
It's Aug 9th @ 10am - 4pm.

~~~My 1st Blog~~~
I enjoy creating cards and I try to design it to the person's personality. Other than that, I just continuously make them with whatever idea I come up with. I started selling them to try and make some money go towards my scrapbooking habit. Over time, people would ask for a certain occasion card. Now, I have gone past crazy because I just bought the cricut. The possibilities are completely endless with this machine! My poor Quickutz Revolution is just sitting there on the side.
